Welcome to Al-Hira Educational Centre. Al-Hira Educational Centre is part of Hazrat Sultan Bahu Trust. Al-Hira Educational Centre is based in East London, UK. It was founded in 1997, with the help of volunteers. We have many students learning to pray namaaz and Quran. We also have a place for women to pray.

Class times

The mosque is open for every namaaz.

            We have week day classes running from 4:30 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. These classes teach students (including girls) to read Arabic, learn Tajweed, read namaaz and to recite the Holy Quran by heart.

            Every Friday we have a special guest Mufti Yaar Muhammad Sahib, who does Dars-E-Quran, this is after Asr namaaz, all newcomers are welcome. 

We also teach urdu to students on Saturdays, this is from 10:30A.M. to 1P.M.

Plans for Al-Hira London

We currently have 200 students learning, we would like to have more but we have to refuse them, therefore we Insha ALLAH are going to improve out facilities.        

                By the grace of Almighty Allah SWT, we are aiming to start the construction of the new building for your Mosque in the very near future. Meraaj-un-Nabi’s Convention program is organised to promote this construction. We aim to inform all our Brothers and Sisters, Inshallah, of this construction, in the hope that they will do all they can to assist us.  We are appealing to all the Muslim brothers and sisters to participate by making generous donations towards this holy project.
 
The new building is going to consist of four floors, including the basement and three floors above ground.

You may give donations to send Esaale Sawab, to your parents or to other close family. Your loved ones and you will be rewarded for this generous act, and will receive blessings from Allah SWT for each and every time this Mosque is prayed in. This can be done by paying for the equivalent of the construction of one prayer mat space, which is approximately 1.2 Metres by 0.75 Metres. This is to the sum of £500.00. 

May Allah SWT, Inshallah, give all of us the strength, Imaan and motivation to work together to build a better facilitated Mosque, which can cater to all of our needs.

We need in excess of one million pounds to construct this new building and we are in desperate need of funds and kind help from all the Muslim community to complete this project. Jazak ALLAH Khair.
